The ICW practices an exchange of ideas through a roundtable “clarification of thought” which often includes a presentation followed by a facilitated discussion and reflection. In addition to presentation and discussion, we also share the practice of Lectio Divina once a month. This practice includes reading scripture and reflecting together on its meaning and application in our lives. Every couple of months we schedule a decision making meeting to plan future roundtable discussions and to plan and make decisions related to our mission, including engaging in works of mercy, confronting the works of war., and challengin social injustice.
Additional meetings and events are also listed as they pertain to our overall theme of nonviolently disarming ourselves, our communities, and our world.
